Good Christian books can help us learn to know and love Christ more, to live more like Him, to understand His Word better, to be inspired by the examples of other Christians.

At Highfields there is a bookstall available most Sundays in the foyer, which aims to sell good books at low prices. All new books are sold less than RRP - many at half price or less. There is also a shelf of second hand books.

We've just launched our "10 Good Books" project. We've chosen a really good book for each of 10 areas of Christian life and teaching, and made them available at absolute bargain prices! Each one will be reviewed in church as our "book of the month". The first book is "Dig Deeper" by Nigel Beynon and Andrew Sach. The next two are "Knowing God" by Jim Packer, and "God's New Community" by Graham Beynon. The idea is that these 10 books would be a great start to any Christian's library of good Christian books, and that they would encourage you in your reading and desire to know God better.

In addition, Bill and Gill Mosley have started a book club for those who want to meet with others to read these books. Do get in touch with them via the church office if you'd like to join.
