If you are new to Highfields there is a course coming up for you which
will help you find out more about the church, meet other newcomers and some
of the staff and leaders.
This will run on 3 consecutive Tuesday evenings until 10th March

All the roads of truth meet at the Cross in the death of Jesus. What
looks like defeat is in fact victory. What appears as human weakness is in
fact divine strength.
Good Friday is the place where the purposes of God to save meet the needs of
humanity to be rescued.

Easter Sunday Service

How do you explain the Grand Canyon ? Certainly not because a
solitary native American was dragging a stick ! Big effects must have big
causes. The existence of the Church over 2000 years requires an explanation.
And only the miracle of the Resurrection of Jesus is a big enough cause. So
as the Church celebrates this Sunday the ground shaking, world changing
truth that Jesus is alive, we want to proclaim a message of hope to all who
are open to hear it.
Come and find out how Jesus defeated death in the Great Escape.

12 - Why the Resurrection Matters:
Easter Sunday Service - 6:30pm
"Faith is believing what you know isn't true " said the schoolboy in
his essay ! Maybe that's the way you think about faith - it's little more
than a mental leap in the dark. Well if that's the way you regard faith then
the New Testament witness to Jesus offers a number of reasons why faith has
a credible, rational basis. Perhaps the greatest proof is the evidence for
the resurrection.
That's what we'll be exploring this Sunday evening - the Resurrection and
why it matters. For without it the whole of the Christian faith collapses.

From Tuesday to Friday 17th we have our KNIGHT HOOD Holiday Club. The
sessions will be action-packed with crafts, games, activities, competitions,
quizzes, prizes, drama, songs and Bible stories, plus much, much more. There
will also be…
* A games session for those in Y3-6 on Thursday 16th, 2:30 – 4:00pm
* A Family Fun Night on Friday 17th, at 6:30 – 8:00pm
* A Sunday Special on Sunday 19th at 11:15am

with prize-giving and pizza, amongst other things.
Due to increasing numbers at our holiday clubs, we are encouraging
