fit for PURPOSEFit for Purpose

One of the main images of the Church in the New Testament is that of a living and dynamic body vitally connected, and growing together towards maturity in Christ the Head.

It's this central idea of health, growth and interdependence which we're exploring during the next 40 days.

Under the banner of 'Fit for Purpose' we'll discover why Highfields exists and how we can function more effectively.

Through an integrated programme of Sunday talks and mid week small group discussions, we'll have the joy of joined up thinking, praying and encouragement.  The involvement of as many as possible will be a key to the success of the programme.

It helps to reflect the core values of the local church: up towards God, in worship and adoration, out towards society in witness and proclamation, in towards each other in welcome and integration.

There's much Highfields needs to learn about Christian living, and the best way to do that is in community as part of a body.
